What to do with leftover PAINT:
Dispose: You can take dried paint to the Hall County Landfill. If it’s still liquid, you can add cat litter to the paint in the can and let it solidify. If the can is pretty full you may need to separate it into multiple containers and then mix with cat litter.
Recycle: Drop off paint at the Gainesville Paint (770-532-3146) on Main street. They are a designated pick up stop for an Atlanta outfit that collects unused paint. There is a $5 charge per gallon.
Donate: School art or theater departments may want the paint. Give them a call.
